Assam Rifles Exam Details : Assam Rifles Recruitment rally will be held in Compassionate Ground Appointment will be held at Shillong, (Meghalaya), and NRS-Guwahati up to 28th February 2017. Selection Procedure for recruitment in Assam Rifles : Competitors will be selected after giving impressing performance in common competitive written test, practical test, Physical Efficiency Test followed by short interview. The selection Procedure will dependent on three process of the recruitment like as: 1 process in which the Physical Standard Test (PST) will essential to qualify for the 2 process of written examination very essential for qualifying to the 3 process of Medical Examination (PET).

• PET / PST Test (Centers -Diphu, Lokra, Jorhat, Silchar (Assam) & Kashiram Basti, Dimapur (Nagaland), Shillong (Meghalaya)
• Written exam (Total 100 Marks and minimum cutoff criteria is –  General / Ex-servicemen: 35% and SC/ST/ OBC: 33%)

Physical Efficiency Test | Selection Process For Assam Rifles Exam 2017 : The ASSAM Rifle Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted for all trades including General Duty, Technical & Tradesmen Personnel, Clerk / Personal Assistant :

• For Male candidates: 05 km run to qualify within 24 minutes
• For Female Candidates: 1.6 km run to qualify within 8.30 minutes
• No PET will for Ex-Servicemen. However ex-servicemen are required to pass the requisite medical examination.

Written Test | Selection Process For Assam Rifles Exam 2017 : The exam is of Objective type i.e it consists of Multiple Choice Questions. There are one Papers in Assam Rifles Rally Exam The examination consists of 100 questions & 100 Marks. The written will be held for all the candidates. The test will consist of the paper of 100 marks. The Cut off Percentage of Marks for appointment is as under General/ Ex-Servicemen: 35% & SC/ ST/ OBC: 33%.

Trade Test (Skill Test) | Selection Process For Assam Rifles Exam 2017 : Assam Rifles Trade Test (Skill Test) for Technical & Tradesmen Personnel including Clerk / Personal Assistant will be conducted before undergoing details medical examination. Participants who passed for Trade Test (Skill Test) will only go to attend the Medical Examination.

Medical Examination | Selection Process For Assam Rifles Exam 2017 : Only those candidates who have scored above the cut off marks fixed by the Commission in Written Examination will be required to appear in the Medical Examination.The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein and squint in eyes. Detailed medical examination (DME) and review medical examination (RME) will be undergone as per guidelines issued by ADG (Medical) CAPF, NSG and AR.
